Minimal Collective, founded in Skopje in February 2019 by producer Ivana Shekutkoska, has swiftly established itself as an innovative creative hub in film, TV, and commercial production.
With a lean but dedicated team—currently led by Ivana and supported by other dynamic producers—the company is committed to elevating visual storytelling through meticulous craft and bold ideas.
Originating from humble beginnings, Minimal Collective has taken projects from concept to screen, working across fiction, documentary, and branded content, and earning recognition through national grants and international festival selections.
IVANA SHEKUTKOSKA
CEO, PRODUCER
Ivana Shekutkoska holds a background in Economics and earned an M.A. in Marketing, Advertising & PR from the University of Sheffield – City College. She began her producing career in 2015, working across short films, fiction, and documentaries. She honed her skills through participation in prestigious programs such as MAIA, the MIDPOINT Institute, the Emerging Producers workshops at the Erich Pommer Institute, Coco – Connecting Cottbus, Docs Barcelona, the Short Film Corner at the Festival de Cannes, etc.
In 2019, she founded Minimal Collective in Skopje and continues to guide the company as its lead producer. She also collaborates closely with two other leading Macedonian production companies, Cinema Futura and Fragment Film.
A significant milestone came when, together with Ivan Unkovski, they produced the debut feature DJ Ahmet, directed and written by Georgi M. Unkovski, produced by Cinema Futura. The film premiered in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2025, earning the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision and the Audience Award.
