Production has officially wrapped on the short feature film Certificate of Life, directed by Macedonian filmmaker Sandra Gjorgievska, following an intensive five-day shoot across locations in Skopje and Štip.
The film is produced by Skopje-based production company Minimal Collective in co-production with Croatian company Marinis Media, bringing together a regional crew of 23 film professionals from North Macedonia and Croatia.
Certificate of Life features a prominent cast led by Asja Jovanović, Elena Kirezova, Jelena Jovanova Perić, Mile Vrateovski, and Nenad Mitevski. The project marks another regional collaboration focused on emerging auteur-driven cinema from Southeast Europe.
Director Sandra Gjorgievska described the filming process as an intense but deeply collaborative experience, with the production taking place across multiple urban and intimate locations in Skopje and Štip over the course of five shooting days.
The project continues Minimal Collective’s growing slate of internationally oriented productions and regional co-productions. Founded by producer Ivana Shekutkoska, the company has recently participated in several European development and co-production platforms while expanding its presence within the regional film industry.
With principal photography now completed, Certificate of Life enters post-production and is expected to begin its international festival journey following completion.
